SOH27 Relativity is divided into: The Alchemy, The Encounters, The Synergy.
deWillem3 shows highlights and developments from the authentic work of Alex Vermeulen in a period of thirty-five years. In The Alchemy the visitor sees a compressed overview of staged photography, sculptural instruments and premieres of never-before-seen drawings.
In The Encounters (1976-1995); models of alchemical projects placed in public spaces in our immediate environment as a permanent part of our daily lives: (Photos of models and projects in public space (1989-1995).
At the entrance of the exhibition installation The Synergy: SOH23 you know why I am so happy!? (2003-2010): A sound sculpture Eggy with eight singers from China, Tibet, Israel, India, Afghanistan, Iraq, South Africa, Congo, Angola, Mozambique and the USA, who never have met. They are recorded separately. In this installation they unite into a dynamic world choir.
SOH28 911 (film, 2 minutes) has its premiere in Vlissingen. A tribute to the victims of the attack on NYC, it shows the emotions of those who jumped from the WTC.

Furthermore, we show SOH10 “The Opera” (feature film, 70 minutes) premiere Vlissingen. Location and date of the performance will be announced.
